Sixth Grade science will cover Earth & Space Science, Life Science, Physical Science and Chemistry topics. We will use a variety of textbooks both in and out of class to cover the topics. In and out of class we will also be using a platform called Canvas and Google Classroom which can be accessed via the student's school login. Through this the student will be able to work on assignments, tests, quizzes and submit their work from any technological device. They will also be able to view grades at real time and send messages to me. We will also spend some time preparing for concepts and best practices tested on MCAS 2.0. This year we are also excited to incorporate into our curriculum a variety of STEAM lessons that will connect all of the disciplines together. Lastly, and most importantly, we will be readying you for the rest of your educational career.

Code of Conduct
|
The expectations, rules, procedures and consequences of my classroom are intended to keep the classroom environment safe, orderly, and productive. Please respect the rules so that we can maximize our learning time together. The rules are not hard to follow, nor are any of them “out of the ordinary.” They are simply expected behaviors for middle school students in this classroom. If you have any questions about any of these rules, or why they are in place, you have the right to find out – please ask me as soon as possible. There should never be a rule that does not have a purpose! Thank you for your cooperation!
